Yoga Nidra Teacher Training

Yoga Nidra Teacher Training: The Seeker School June 11-13, 2021

Yoga Nidra is both a set of practices and techniques, as well as a state of being. Just like Yoga, Yoga Nidra is a holistic and complete system in and of itself. In this teacher training, you will dive deep into study of the history and philosophy of the tradition and lineage of the ancient practices of Yoga Nidra. You will learn how the practices evolved, the reason for their evolution, how to practice, when to practice and how to implement and teach these practices to others. The revelation of true rest, true healing, and a direct path back to ourselves and our true inner knowing are some of the most profound and long-lasting effects of Yoga Nidra. This training is based both in the ParaYoga (Sri Vidya and Himalayan traditions) as well as Empowered Wisdom (Radiant Rest).

This training will explore:

·      The Sacred Abode of Yoga Nidra

·      The 6 aims of Yoga Nidra

·      Methods (techniques and practices) to achieving these aims

·      Four States of Consciousness

·      Application of sankalpa as it relates to Yoga Nidra

·      The depth and breadth of practice

·      Teaching practicum with feedback
